These orange bell peppers turned out better than I expected, so I’m saving seeds from the best ones and repeating the experiment next season. I’ll start them in the greenhouse around January, transplant them once the weather warms up, and use the same fertilizer mix: Vigoro 10-10-10 mixed 50/50 with Soil Doctor lime. Will the next generation produce the same beautiful peppers? We’ll find out!

I Rooted Sugar Cane Before Cutting It

My first sugar cane grew with very short joints, so instead of harvesting it, I wrapped moist coco coir around the stalk and encouraged the nodes to grow roots while it was still attached. Now I can cut it off, plant it, and turn one cane into even more plants. This Chunky Coco Coir Has My Plants Exploding With Growth!

Since I started using these chunky coco coir bricks in my greenhouse, my plants have been growing like crazy! My rubber plant, Jamaican June plum, and lemon tree are all thriving. It worked so well that I bought another brick!
